Facebook groups vs. Instagram vs. TikTok: where to actually start

You can't do all three well on day one. Here's how to pick.

For a brand-new, local cleaning business, local Facebook groups are usually the fastest path to your first bookings. Community groups and neighborhood pages are where homeowners actually ask 'does anyone know a good cleaner' — show up there consistently and helpfully, not just with ads.

Instagram is the better long-term home base — it's where your before/afters, reviews, and brand actually live and build up over time, even if it converts slower at first.

TikTok can work, but it rewards volume and personality more than polish. If you or someone on your team is comfortable on camera, it's worth trying — if not, it's not where your first month of effort should go.

A reasonable starting split: 70% of your time in local Facebook groups and your own page, 30% building an Instagram presence you can point people to. Add TikTok later, once the basics are running on autopilot.
